Switching from Windows XP to Windows Seven 64-bit I noticed a problem that I have no solution at this time. I own an application that captures audio output sound in real time. This professional application is used to extract and edit audio clips contained in filming. When running on Windows Seven the application was to show only the options 'line in' and 'Mike' (in WinXP had the 'sound out'). At first I thought it was installation problem or 'driver'. I reinstalled the software unable to solve. Reconfigure the 'sound' of Win7, and nothing.

Overview; Specifications; Gallery; News & Award. M2N-MX supports AMD Cool 'n' Quiet! Windows 10 S Compatible Device. Oct 31, 2010 Asus motherboard m2n mx drivers for windows 7. Asus M2VMX-SE No drivers for windows 7; 64-bit Windows 7 Install.

Neither ASUS, nor the C-MEDIA has the 'driver' C6501 Windows Seven 32 or 64 bits. I could not solve the problem and I found on page C-MEDIA the following information - 'Windows 7 beta drivers do not support the playing to record digital audio (WAVE) - which may be the answer without solving the problem. ASUS states: 'The version currently does not support Win7 RTM version. Win7 for RTM driver will be provided in the near future.

' Even so, there may be some other solution to the problem of sound? Dir=ltr id=result_box>dir=ltr id=result_box>I need the ASUS get me a solution, because both the C-MEDIA and Microsoft gave no solution.

Apocalypse World Pdf more. The settings for it is at >>ControlPanel>Sound. At the first Tab = Playback, you can click the Speakers icon, and then chose either Configure or Properties, where you will find lots of different settings. Especially under Properties there's a lot of different settings.

Do NOT expect any new drivers for this old - since 2006 = stone age - motherboard, from Asus or C-Media. And I can't understand where you at all could find ANY 'drivers' for this motherboards C6501, since at: or at: the 6501 isn't mentioned at all?! And at ASUS: SLI&SLanguage=en-us&os=17.one can't even choose Win7 as the OS, so WHERE did you at all find the info you claim you found??

But, as i said, Win7 already has its own drivers for this motherboards soundchip. Member Posts: 6 Level. Tech Points: 3 From: France Posted:12/9/2009 9:12:00 PM # 6 Hi, This motherboard is listed as compatible with Windows 7 in ASUS website: It means that an user which would buy one on Ebay for example will see this information and believe it is true. Another fact is that the USB CM6501 never worked fine with Vista, with problems of USB bandwith saturation making it suddenly doing an huge sound. Windows 7 drivers only activate 2 channel or 7 channel mode and we cannot use 5.1 mode.

When I look the manual of my product, the 5.1 feature is listed as a possible one. I feel like ASUS should at least modify the webpage I mentionned above because 'compatible with Windows 7' should means that there will be no need to go on ASUS support forum to learn that some features are impossible to get! Why don't you read the post: ' (two pages) where someone claims to have solved to problem, it's just a few posts ahead of this. I don't believe in it, but but. This motherboard is from 2006 = OLD = STONEage, so don't expect anymore updates from Asus! If you get yourself a New motherboard - for less than $100 - you'll also get tons of New features, like WORKING Sound for just exactly Win7., correctly working Serial-ATA, and perhaps USB3 as well! There are newer motherboards that will work with the same Memory Modules as this one, and the same Processor as this one, so it won't be very expensive to change. I'm running Win7 on this motherboard, but from a second hdd, and i would never run Win7 on this one as the Main OS - instead i'll buy a new motherboard, and whatever else i need, when i decide i want to run Win7 as my Main OS, and i sell this motherboard, or keep it as backup perhaps. Hell, the Sound never ever worked very well on this one EVEN with XP, so why expect it to be any better with Win7.
