Greetings, everyone. The patch for the remastered editions of Bioshock 1 and 2 on the PC has finally been released, and since a few weeks ago when the games released I made a video showcasing the most prominent issues, I decided to make a new video showing that the games have greatly been improved. I’m quite happy with the results in general, the fixes make the mouse behave in a better way overall, no acceleration or weird movements that plagued Bioshock 1 since the original release. A Field of View slider has been added to both games and it goes from the original “extended” value of 75, to a nice 130 degrees horizontal, more than enough for those with ultra wide, 21:9, screens. This is a most welcome and necessary fix, since not everyone knows how to edit.ini files, nor should be necessary to be honest; it’s a good thing that some of us know how to do it though, so we can share it with others but basic things should be present in our video games, and I’m happy to see this has been patched.

The games haven’t crashed for me so far since the patch released, but one can never be too sure, so if any of you still experience any issues, make sure to check the Steam forums to see if the issues have any solutions. Make sure you don't have any.ini tweaks from the old versions that might conflict with the new patch changes too.
