How To Change Umd Iso Mode To M33 Driver

Anybody can advise and help? My Slim has encountered disc read problem. After start up, the xmb takes a damn long time to fully come up, and then finally with a message: disc read problem. Record Of Lodoss War Dc Game on this page. The normal XMB will come up eventually, but periodically, the message 'The disc could not be read' continued to pop up. My Slim was originally in 390m33-3.

I have tried upgrading it with pandora to 401m33-2, the disc read error still persist. I went on to restore Nand (DC7) ( earlier already backup at the onset ), the problem was still there. I have, all these while, ensured that at system setting, UMD auto start: off, UMD cache: off, UMD ISO mode: M33 driver. Best Racing Mmorpg Games on this page. I don't use the UMD, anyway. After trying all means but still failed, it occured to me that the disc read problem might be the UMD. So at the startup when the psp was still reading ( it will take a damn long time, and after which it will still give a message that The disc could not be read), I opened up the UMD cover and the proper XMB was loaded. However, the message 'The disc could not be read' still pop up after awhile.

Could anyone advise how to overcome the problem completely, without having to send back to S??Y to change a new UMD? It seems to me that even at M33 mode, the UMD disc is still being consistently read at.?

Games played from the MS will continue to have this Message ' exit game' pop up periodically. Thks a lot in advance. Thks x3sphere. No, I didnt try 500M33-3 as DC8 is still not available and 401 seems still good on my other psp. Ya, It is indeed a hardware problem. I found 2 ways to overcome the problem.
